Can I measure moisture dissolved in liquids?
Yes, in certain groups of liquid hydrocarbons, which obey Henry’s Law.
 
What is the Series 100 operating range?
Degrees C: -100 to +20
Degrees F: -202 to +68
PPM: 0-20,000
 
How do I shut off my audible alarm?
If the analyzer is not equipped with an audible alarm on/off switch, push the MODE button located on the front panel controls.
 
What should my flow rate be?
Recommended flow rate should be .5 liters or 250 – 500 cc/min.
When moisture probes are installed in a bypass flow cell chamber, the sample flow rate should be also be set between 250 – 500 cc/min.
 
Do I need a flow meter?
It is not necessary, because the dew point is not flow sensitive.
 
What are the types of gases that can be used with the Nyad Moisture Analyzer?
The Nyad moisture analyzers can be used with various gases such as helium, neon, xenon, freon, argon, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, nitrogen, methane and hydrocarbons.
 
Can the Nyad Moisture Analyzer be used with Ammonia?
No, the analyzer will not work with ammonia, chlorine, and strong acid base such as, hydrogen chloride (HCI), sulfuric acid, etc.
