Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer

The NYAD Series 400 Total Hydrocarbon Monitor is a microprocessor-based controller coupled to a solid-state sensor. The monitor has an operating range of 0-10,000 ppm methane equivalent. The monitor will display the results and provide a voltage or current output and has an adjustable alarm contact.

The sensor produces an electrical signal when exposed to various hydrocarbon vapors. The signal depends on the specific hydrocarbon so that the display represents the concentration of Methane that would produce an equivalent signal. For example: Gasoline would produce a signal approximately 50% of that for pure methane.
